With more than 25 years of leadership roles in a variety of complex organizations and systems, Lisa is a positive change agent with a track record of increasing organizational and employee effectiveness through thoughtful, participatory and collaborative processes.
During her career, she has led many large-scale change efforts, such as administrative and structural mergers and reorganizations, as well as hundreds of process, procedural and policy improvements.
A skilled learning and development practitioner, Lisa has developed hundreds of customized, engaging and interactive presentations, trainings and workshops on a variety of topics, for audiences ranging in size from small teams to hundreds of participants, as well as serving as a keynote and motivational speaker.
As a highly experienced and widely respected leader in higher education, Lisa has a passion for helping students find success in the college that is just right for them. Working for a variety of public and private universities, a in Washington, Colorado, Oregon and Massachusetts, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), as well as in the community and technical college system, has given her practical experience and expertise in every facet of the college life cycle, from admissions to graduation. She maintains strong relationships with leaders in high schools, public and private universities, community and technical colleges, as well as experts in the field of higher education, throughout the state and across the country.
Lisa is also a subject-matter expert in Guided Pathways, a national student success approach that helps simplify a student’s journey to and through college and into their desired career in the most efficient manner possible.
Lisa holds a Master’s Degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she focused on organizational leadership and development, adult development, change management, diversity and inclusion, and fiscal management; and a Bachelor’s degree from Washington State University.
